SUMMARY:
Multi-national company has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join their Centurion office.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:
Grade 12
Accounting Diploma/Degree
5 + years working experience in accounting/ bookkeeping
Completed articles is a minimum requirement
Highly efficient computer literacy (MS Office package)
SAGE X3, Orbfusion and Pastel Partner highly recommended
Presentable, able and driven
Own transport
South African citizen

Responsibilities:

Capturing of debtors and creditors for the companies.
Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Prepare financial management reports.
Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
Monitor and support taxation issues.
Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.
Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
Analyse and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
Analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
Capture banking transactions
Reconcile petty cash SAGE and site sheets.
Reconcile payroll journal and import accordingly.
Capture, monitor and report on BBBEE procurement spend.

Remuneration is inclusive of subsidised medical aid and a pension scheme contribution.
