SUMMARY:
Opportunity for a Financial Accountant

POSITION INFO:

One of South Africa’s leading organizations in the insurance sector is recruiting for a Financial Accountant. This stable concern has opened its doors more than 100 years ago and has almost 150 operations countrywide. The successful candidate will be a CA(SA) who enjoys the technical side of accounting and understands the process of IFRS 17 implementation.

Duties:

Implementation of IFRS 17
Ensure correct adaptation of IFRS changes
Assist with external reporting
Financial reporting and analysis
Review financial statements
Assist with the co-ordination of the external audit
- Ensure compliance of internal controls

Education and Experience:

CA(SA)
At least 2 years post article experience
