Accountant

SUMMARY:
A rapidly transforming establishment in the manufacturing space based in Greylingstad, is in search of a high calibre induvial to fill the role of an Accountant.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for someone who will be working directly under the Financial Manager and have strong background experience in the manufacturing industry. You must enjoy being in a plant environment and have good understanding of inventory. Duties:

• Capturing transactions on the electronic accounting system (SAGE Evolution) and on any other necessary systems (data entry)
• Processing accounts payables and payments in compliance with the financial policies and procedures
• Creditors’ Statement and selected Balance sheet reconciliations
• Capture Supplier Purchase Orders and Supplier invoices
• Capture Stock GRV and responsible for Stock Control
• Creditors and balance sheet recons
• Preparation of weekly and monthly payments
• Running Bill of material manufacturing processes daily
• Weekly reporting, Cashflow forecasting, Creditors, Various.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric
• BCom Accounting
• Bookkeeping certificates would be a huge advantage
• Sage Evolution exposure is a bonus

Experience:

• 5 - 8 years’ Experience Accounting experience
• Completed Articles is a must.
• Factory / Plant experience is required.
• Good understanding of Debtors/ Creditors and Inventory.
• Sage Evolution
