SUMMARY:
Are you a newly qualified CA(SA) and looking to expand your career in the commercial market, we have a 3/6 month contract with a company located in the City of Tshwane.

POSITION INFO:

This client is seeking someone to help fill the role of an accountant. This individual needs to aid enthusiasm that will help improve sustainable value throughout the organization as they will be among a team full of young and visionary individuals. Duties:

Preparing and capturing month end journals
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Analysis of financial data
Preparing VAT returns
Preparing monthly statutory journals
Compilation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Adhoc general ledger reconciliations
Adhoc review and posting of journals
Full payroll to GL reconciliations, including assisting in the further development in the reconciliation process going forward
Analysis and reconciliation of tax position relating to current and prior tax years
Individual tax computations
Research adhoc tax matters as required
Submission of tax returns

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Accounting/ CTA
Qualified CA(SA)

Experience:

Newly qualified or an individual with 3 years’ post experience
Experience in the financial services/insurance industry will be beneficial
The ability to multitask
Works meticulously always demonstrating a very high level of attention to detail
