This client is looking for an Accountant. This is a short-term contract, for 3 months, you want to be part of this amazing team. Reach out to ofentse@salixrecruitment.co.za to be considered for the role.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Accounting for daily transactions
Accounting for monthly transactions
Correction journals as required
Finalising accounts in line with monthly reporting deadlines
Compilation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Administrative tasks related to accounting records
Full payroll to GL reconciliations, including assisting in the further development in the reconciliation process going forward
Analysis of financial data
Drafting of annual financial statements
Analysis and reconciliation of tax position relating to current and prior tax years
Individual tax computations
Research adhoc tax matters as required
Submission of tax returns
General finance related queries as required on an adhoc basis
Calculation and submission of Return of Equity to the department of labour
Payroll import

Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Degree BCom Accounting degree
Honours /CTA completed
Completed Articles with in the top 4 audit firms

Experience:

Newly qualified CA(SA) or 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Exposure to payroll environment will be an added advantage
