Accountant

SUMMARY:
Accountant – Limpopo – Immediately Available

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a temporary Accountant for a period of 2 to 3 months to assist with full bookkeeping functions at a lodge in the Limpopo Province.  It needs to be someone who can hit the ground running, put in substantial hours of data checking/capturing, be able to communicate clearly and make sound accounting decisions.
 
Requirements:

• Completed B.Compt or B.Comm (Accounting Sciences), or in final year of part-time studies
• At least 3 years work experience
• Own transport
• Must have at least 6 months experience of the following:
• Hospitality industry
• Reconciliation of debtors'' accounts
• Reconciliation of detailed stock quantities and values to general ledger inventory opening balances
• Bank reconciliations
• Creditors
• Fixed assets accounting
• Rectifying anomalies in general ledger accounts through sensible journals
• Compilation of income statements and balance sheets
• Assisting external auditors with queries

• Panstrat hospitality accounting software
• Innkeeper (CIMSO) software
• Sage One
• Communication in Afrikaans
