JOB SUMMARY:
Our well-known client based in George is looking for an Accountant to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Monthly accounting, processing and reporting for each client portfolio as well as Client portfolio management
Bookkeeping
Compile and capture data
Payroll processing
UIF registrations
Preparation of statutory accounts
Tax planning, calculations and submissions
Deal with SARS, handling audits and queries and reviews
Knowledge of legislation and relevant regulations
Request information from clients for annual and monthly work
Prepare & review of working paper files
Draft & review annual financial statements
Manage individual productivity & budgets
Billing of clients
Monitor SAIPA clerks progress, logbooks & training needs
Communicate effectively with internal & external clients
Maintain and build professional relationship with internal & external clients

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience
Client portfolio management experience
SAIPA/SAICA accredited and degree or honours
Proficient in MS Office, Caseware, IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, SAGE Accounting / SAGE Payroll
Great communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Completed SAIPA articles (Preferred)
SAIPA professional qualification (Preferred)
Valid driver’s licence & own transport
