JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the GM and having gained post-article experience within the manufacturing environment. The successful applicant will have gained a solid understanding of Factory Operations, FEC Contracts as well as Pastel Partner experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities

Processing and Reconciling of different Cashbooks/Banks.
Processing and reconciling cashbooks in foreign currencies.
Creditors reconciliations.
Payment of all overseas creditors.
Reconciliations of overseas creditors.
Control of FEC contracts and booking/draw downs of FEC'S with dealing room.
Reconciling intergroup transactions.
Reconciling of all Balance Sheet accounts.
General journals.
Preparing the final trial balance.
Preparing monthly management information.
Preparing annual financial statement for the auditors.
Managing stock take and stock take variances.
Overseeing bookkeeper.
Authorizing Payments.
Preparing final trial balance.

Requirements

B Com (Accounting) degree.
Complete Articles essential.
Computer Literate.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Pastel experience.
Hard worker and must be able to perform under pressure.
Ability to work neatly, accurately and in an organized manner.
Strong Administrative Skills and deadline driven.
