Are you an experienced Accountant Assistant looking to grow your career in a dynamic Head Office environment? This role will see you providing financial support across multiple subsidiaries within a leading international group, contributing directly to efficient operations and compliance with international standards.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and local accounting standards.
• Manage and reconcile general ledgers, intercompany loan accounts, and month-end journals.
• Oversee accounts payable for both local and international suppliers.
• Assist with treasury and cash flow management.
• Supervise stock counts, maintain fixed asset registers, and process related adjustments.
• Prepare and submit VAT and withholding tax returns.
• Support finance system enhancements and process automation projects.
• Assist with statutory and regulatory compliance obligations.

Requirements:

• BCom Accounting (articles and honours preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills (advanced level).
• Computer literacy essential – Syspro experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
