SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-oriented Accountant with a passion for the construction industry? Our client, a well-established construction company, is seeking a skilled and proactive Accountant to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
Accountant – Construction Industry (BuildSmart Experience Required)
ð Location: Centurion, Pretoria
ð¼ Salary: R 450 000 – R 480 000 per annum
ð Start Date: January 2026

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction sector
Proficiency in BuildSmart accounting software (non-negotiable)
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Oversee project costing and ensure the accurate allocation of expenses
Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with audits
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance
Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvements
