JOB SUMMARY:
A successful service provider company based in Parow is seeking to employ a qualified SAICA/SAIPA Accountant with 2-4 years’ working experience in a construction environment. This is an office-based position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Oversee and actively follow through on transactional processing and provide timeous solutions.
Examine, analyse, and interpret accounting records.
Assess and prepare control account reconciliations.
Manage the debtors and creditors finance teams.
Solution driven resolving customer escalations.
Prepare weekly and month end reporting accurately and timeously.
Assisting in general and payroll related duties.
Ensure uninterrupted daily workflow and assist with ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Skills and requirements:

BCom Accounting/Finance Management, Honors (Advantageous)
SAICA / SAIPA articles.
Sage Business Cloud Accounting: 2 years’ experience needed.
Debtors/Creditors management: 1 years’ experience needed.
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in construction environment.
Sage experience
Debtors and creditors experience.
Exposure to payroll processing.
High-risk decision-making skills.
Analytical and advanced excel skills.
Fast paced and high-volume environment.
Detail orientated and hands-on.
