SUMMARY:
Start imm! Multi-National concern, based on the East Rand, has an opening for a Reporting Accountant. Position requires a person with a completed B.Com (Accounting) / similar, with 5+ years related experience. Solid and recent SAP knowledge essential.

POSITION INFO:

Report directly to the FD and be responsible for monthly overseas reporting and sorting out queries, monthly management accounts, preparation of monthly GL recons plus clean out; process monthly journals, provisions and accruals, statistical returns ie. Department of Statistics and SARS, liaising with the Bank and the Auditors, be a back-up for pety cash, debtors and creditors; run costings on SAP, do month-end year end on SAP; checking creditors recons; balancing inter-company and GIT; various monthly returns to SARS, COIDA and the Department of Statistics; back-up for cashbook and download at year-end; authorise PO''s on SAP; maintain asset register and do asset count / audit once a year; signature on the bank; weekly cashflow forecast to Europe; international reporting experience essential with advanced Excel experience. Position would ideally suit a female.
