SUMMARY:
DUR002111- ACCOUNTANT – EAST LONDON

Purpose of the job:
To assist the Financial Manager with various tasks in the Financial Department.

Required Qualifications

BCom Accounting Degree & Completed Articles
Minimum of 3 - 5 years Post Articles experience
Must have Caseware or Sage Pastel Experience

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies and responsibilities
Assist Financial Manager with various reports where necessary

Ensure that all company secretarial administration and changes are in place
Monthly review of general ledgers
Monthly review of management accounts
Responsible for ELP billing
Review and maintenance of company insurance policies
Assist with the rollover of various templates at year end
Preparation and report back of project budgets for various entities

Behavioural Competencies:

Good planning, interpersonal and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Conflict management
