JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the property investment sector is seeking to appoint a newly qualified and ambitious Accountant with at least 2 years work experience to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities (not limited too):

Initial review of payment requisitions, ensuring that payments have been captured to the correct expense code and VAT has been adequately accounted for.
Management of creditors team and their deadlines.
Review of monthly rent roll, ensuring accuracy of billing and receipted.
Monthly bank reconciliations.
Preparation of the rates and CID recovery schedules to ensure accurate recovery.
Assistance in building property level budgets.
Review of monthly management accounts and comparison to budget with commentary.
Assistance in compiling information for financial year-end audit.
30% of time to be allocated in assistance of ad-hoc tasks required by Executive Directors.

Qualification / Requirements:

B. Com Accounting.
Must have basic knowledge and understanding of VAT Act.
2 years prior work experience.
Competent on MS Excel.
Willingness and eagerness to learn and grow.
