<--------Please upload your CV here-------- is currently assisting a client with a small finance team who require the expertise of an Accountant who has previous Management/ Cost Accounting experience as well as exposure to the audit process and financial controls. Experience in an international environment

Experience and qualifications:

Completed finance related Degree.

Completed Articles (Preferred) / CIMA qualified.

Significant month end reporting and statutory accounting experience.

Management or Cost Accounting experience within a commercial environment.

Experience in inventory/ stock management controls from a financial perspective.

Ability and experience to prepare budgets and forecasts.

Previous audit and financial control experience.

4-5 years related experience.

Function of the Accountant:

Support Financial Manager and Senior Accountant to ensure compliance with country specific requirements; corporate policies and industry practices;

Responsible for maintaining and testing a SOX compliant environment;

Accountable for proper procedures, policies and strong internal financial controls;

Contribute significantly towards the forecasting and budgeting functions as well as month end and year end reporting/ process;

Collate and prepare expense schedules;

Ensure the warehouse, procurement and stock control areas are effectively managed, with robust process and policies pertaining to finance;

Resolution of any finance specific queries pertaining to inventory/ stock
