SUMMARY:
Our client, a reputable machinery engineering and supply company based in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, is looking for a SAIPAâqualified Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified professional or someone with postâarticles experience who is eager to take on a full accounting role in a handsâon environment.

POSITION INFO:
ð Accountant (SAIPA)
Salary: R 420 000.00/R 480 000.00 per annum
Location: Northern Suburbs, Cape Town
Industry: Machinery Engineering & Supply
Type: Permanent / Full-Time

ð Key Responsibilities:

Full accounting function up to trial balance
Debtors and creditors management
Bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations
Assisting with monthly management accounts
Processing and maintaining financial records accurately and efficiently
Supporting audit processes and financial reporting
Experience working on Syspro (beneficial but not essential)

ð Requirements:

SAIPA qualification (newly qualified or postâarticles experience advantageous)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
Experience with full accounting functions
Proficiency in debtors/creditors management
Syspro experience highly beneficial
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and organizational skills
