About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic, professionally qualified Accountant (CA or CPA) with a strong foundation in financial operations and a passion for growth. This role is ideal for a young professional ready to step into a Junior Financial Manager position and evolve into a strategic finance leader.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including reconciliations, reporting, and compliance
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments
Assist with VAT, payroll, and statutory submissions
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
Contribute to financial strategy and process improvement initiatives
Prepare management accounts and support audit processes
Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies

Requirements

Professionally qualified CA(SA) or CPA
Completed 3-year SAICA/SAIPA articles plus minimum 1 year post-articles experience
Exposure to industry sector (non-audit) environments preferred
Strong technical accounting skills and working knowledge of financial systems
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ambition to grow into a Financial Manager role
