Accounting Assistant

Our Client is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join their team.

Duties Include:

• Help Accountant in the course of his work by keying in data and compiling information directly related to Accounts using in-depth accounting knowledge and understanding of financial concepts.
• Assist the Accountant in preparing for daily reports.
• Enter and code financial transactions appropriately.
• Process payments as well as documents like invoices.
• Track expenses as they relate to specific company job.
• Check all financial transactions for accuracy.
• Other duties as may instructed by the management.

Key skills:

• Must be computer literate and must be proficient in using MS Word, Excel and PASTEL.
• knowledgeable in the language of Business especially Accounting terminology.
• With general understanding of the transaction flow as well as the accounting cycle.
• Must have a background in assisting financial statements preparation.
• high maturity and good judgement skills to conduct work with maximum professionalism and minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 with certificate in Accounting, or BS Accountancy holder or any business related degree course.
• At least 2 years minimum work experience related to Accounts or Finance activity.
