Our Client is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join their team.

Duties Include:

Help Accountant in the course of his work by keying in data and compiling information directly related to Accounts using in-depth accounting knowledge and understanding of financial concepts.
Assist the Accountant in preparing for daily reports.
Enter and code financial transactions appropriately.
Process payments as well as documents like invoices.
Track expenses as they relate to specific company job.
Check all financial transactions for accuracy.
Other duties as may instructed by the management.

Key skills:

Must be computer literate and must be proficient in using MS Word, Excel and PASTEL.
knowledgeable in the language of Business especially Accounting terminology.
With general understanding of the transaction flow as well as the accounting cycle.
Must have a background in assisting financial statements preparation.
high maturity and good judgement skills to conduct work with maximum professionalism and minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 with certificate in Accounting, or BS Accountancy holder or any business related degree course.
At least 2 years minimum work experience related to Accounts or Finance activity.
