Accounting Manager (Porterville)

SUMMARY:
The position is available to the ideal candidate who is determined, hard-working and holds the ability to fit well into a professional team in an expanding branch of a small-medium size accounting & auditing firm. Furthermore, the candidate should be a natural teacher who has an eye for detail, the ability to liaise with clients and a love for reviewing monthly accounting & reporting.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• Preferably accounting degree
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles will count in your favour
• Experience in Xero Accounting, Pastel and CaseWare.
• Strong Value Added Tax knowledge and monthly payroll maintenance experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office Suite.
• Required languages: Afrikaans, English

The position of Financial Manager involves:

• Provide professional monthly financial accounting & reporting services to clients
• Monthly processing, including debtors and creditors reconciliations.
• Ensure the timely delivery of monthly internal reporting
• Payroll maintenance
• SARS Functions, including VAT-, Payroll submissions & SARS query maintenance
• Training of staff to perform accounting duties
• General management of accounting staff
• Support compliance with internal audits & reviews
• Drafting of management reports & financial statements (ad hoc)
