  The Role:

  An innovative and fast growing client within the Telecomms industry is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join the team for a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. Johannesburg North. 

  Skills and Experience:

  Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years''  accounting experience within a similar position 
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an accounting supervisor
  • Experience with reconciliation and report writing is essential 
  • SAP and Sage Pastel experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge of South African accounting standards and tax laws 
  • Experience using tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience within telecommunications industry is advantageous
  • Experience in driving sales through Social Media
  • Great content writing skills 
  Key Accountabilities:
  • Conduct financial check and approval of invoices and expenses claims submitted on companyâ??s internal finance system,
  • Ensure correctness of the approved applications, follow-up on pending applications and support application related queries.
  • Properly record and save-keep all invoices received and issued.
  • Use accounting system, SAP and Sage Pastel, to perform daily accounting work.
  • Attend to monthly SARS obligations (VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP501 etc) and conduct internal tax approvals on companyâ??s internal accounting system
  • Report any financial or tax problems or risks to the finance manager in time.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by finance manager in time.
