A well-established professional services firm in Pretoria East is looking to appoint an Accounting & Audit Manager with completed SAIPA or SAICA articles. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role with responsibility for financial reporting, audits, and managing a small team.

Minimum requirements:
BCom Accounting or equivalent.
Honours advantageous.
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles.
Minimum 2+ years post-articles experience advantageous.
Strong technical skills in reporting, compliance, and controls.
Experience managing or mentoring junior staff preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.

Key responsibilities:
Oversee and review monthly financial statements and reporting packs.
Lead and coordinate audit projects, internal and external.
Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Implement and maintain internal controls to manage risk.
Supervise junior team members and ensure workflow efficiency.
Liaise with clients, senior management, and audit committees.

Comfortable taking ownership of audit processes and deadlines.
Confident communicator with client-facing professionalism.
