As an Accounts Payable Clerk you will manage supplier interactions, process invoices, and handle credit notes efficiently, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and strong supplier relationships. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth accounts payable operations while supporting the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and capture purchase orders, GRVs, and supplier invoices in line with approvals.
• Manage supplier communication, queries, and credit notes, ensuring timely resolution.
• Prepare payment runs, allocate payments accurately, and monitor cash flow.
• Maintain accurate supplier master data and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Apply for 30-day accounts or process COD payments as required.
• Monitor and reconcile company and fleet card expenses monthly.
• Prepare age analysis reports and escalate long-outstanding balances.
• Support continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Diploma in Finance or related field

• 1 - 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable environment.
• Experience with banking platforms and finance systems e.g Xero

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential informat.
