JOB SUMMARY:
Are you a boffin at Multitasking? Do you love Accounts Payable duties but have a passion for office Management? Then look no further. Our client based in the Northern Suburbs is looking someone with a proven track record in Accounts Payable and Admin to take on the role and assist with the day to day running of the company office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maintain the Accounts Payable Ledger, to ensure it accurately reflects the position of each account and that appropriate measures are taken where overdue accounts are detected.

Processing all Accounts Payable purchases with a Purchase Order and liaise with purchasing department in relation to variances and approvals.

Provide Assistant Accountant with a bi-weekly payment list, and reconciled breakdown of both local and foreign creditors to be paid at month-end.

Liaise with applicable suppliers and service providers when queries arise.

Ensure the company pays the creditors within the specified terms and conditions and according to Company payment cycles.

Effectively manage the relationships with service providers.

Maintain maintenance and service schedule for building equipment such as air conditioners, fire extinguishers and office cleaners.

Liaise with office clearer for any cleaning materials and groceries that must be purchased for the office on a weekly basis and load the purchase transaction for approval and payment

Ensure building is in a pristine condition and that coordinate and repairs and maintenance with the relevant vendors.

Liaise with Health and Safety Coordinator to ensure all office related Health and Safety regulations are met.

Encourage innovation and suggest continuous improvement within your team.

Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of and proven experience in an accounts payable position

Good understanding and experience in Office Administration/management

Qualification:

Relevant Finance Qualification

Matric is essential
