A JSE listed company that leads the private sector in the fields of education and resourcing is seeking the professional experience of an Accounts Payable Manager.

As the Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the collection of money owed by the business, you will need to be an organised individual with a love for numbers.

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will responsible for the following:

Review Age analysis
Ensure compliance with Sox controls
Resolve department queries
Prepare payment listing both weekly and monthly
Review monthly provision and accrual journals
Manage accounting postings of Accounts Payable department
Financial analysis of new and existing suppliers
Review Balance Sheet Recons
Manages monthly closing of accounts payable function

Qualifications:

Matric

Diploma / Degree

Skill:

10+ years’ experience

Attention to detail

SharePoint is a preference

Management experience in a Shared Service environment

Previous experience within a Shared Services industry would be beneficial
