JOB SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Accounts Payable Senior Analyst in Sandton.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Accounts Payable Senior Analyst will include all Account Payable Clerk duties such as processing of invoices and payments, metrics analysis, driving process efficiencies and driving KPI improvements, identify and drive cost saving initiatives, reconciliation of supplier statements to month end closing AP Trial Balance, obtaining statements and preparing cash flow requirements daily, weekly clearing and monitoring of GRNI accounts.

Key responsibilities

Onboarding of vendors in SAP
Annual audit support
Preparation of creditor’s reconciliations monthly to Accounts Payable closing Trial Balance
Processing of creditors invoices (PO and NON PO)
Weekly/monthly payment of creditors
Forex payments and adherence to Reserve Bank controls
Cash flow forecasting
GRNI monitoring and clearing
Training to juniors on reconciliations and AP functional requirements
KPI Metrics Analysis and Reporting and optimizing productivity
Change management and drive of process efficiencies, employee productivity, system enhancements, policy adherence
Expense claim processing
Urgent payment processing
Document maintenance and storage

Key Qualifications & Requirements

SAP Experience
General bookkeeping experience
5 Years accounts experience
VAT knowledge
Computer literacy in Excel, Word
