SUMMARY:
Knowledge of Kofax and excellent knowledge of Oracle. 3 years proven experience in a Supervisory Position

POSITION INFO:

B-Com Accounting Degree or Degree within Financial Management
3 years proven experience in a Supervisory Position
At least 5 years’ experience on supplier reconciliations
3 to 5 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable Department
Knowledge of Kofax would be an advantage
Excellent knowledge of Oracle

Key Perfomance Areas

In depth of Forex requirements and payments
Take personal responsibility for correcting problems.
Respond to customer queries and provide solutions.
Power-point Presentations
Strong on Excel
Accruals
Complies with Governance
Check all invoices and validate them on the Oracle system for Payment.
Check and sign all reconciliations.
Resolving queries timeously
Ensuring all audit deadlines are met
Follow up on any outstanding invoices
Liaise with Supplies and end-user in a professional manner

Competencies

Strong understanding of Reconciliations
3-5 years’ experience in Oracle Accounts payable module
Good understanding of the Accounting Principle
Experience in a Higher Education Institute in the same role
Customer service orientation and negotiations skills
Good experience in Microsoft
Understanding of the Accrual system
Deadline Driven with the ability to multitask
Work independently and within a team environment
Good report writing, analysis and presentation skills
