SUMMARY:
An engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator with strong SAP, advanced Excel and extensive debtors experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Full management and administration of the debtors function for two companies, with an approximate R30 million exposure Issue monthly Statements of Account (SOAs) Process and allocate daily receipts and deposits accurately Allocate deposits against overdue accounts, including project-related accounts Vet customers through Experian and submit applications for approval Prepare and submit applications for changes to: Credit limits Payment terms Credit risk Open and maintain new customer accounts Amend Sales Orders on SAP Follow up outstanding queries with the Sales Department Review and sign off relevant vesting forms Compile and submit weekly and monthly debtors\/finance reports Prepare monthly deposit forecast analyses Prepare daily cash-flow and bank-balance notifications Process intercompany invoicing Manage petty cash Perform general Accounts Receivable and finance administration as required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Extensive experience in Accounts Receivable \/ Debtors Strong SAP experience - essential Proven experience managing a substantial debtor book Previous experience within a manufacturing and\/or engineering environment Experience working with project-based and key engineering accounts Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong understanding of: Credit control Customer account management Receipting and allocations Credit limits and payment terms Debtors reconciliations Financial reporting Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and follow-up skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of the debtors function Own reliable transport Must be able to commute to Chloorkop, Kempton Park Must be available to start as soon as possible
