SUMMARY:
An Immediate Opportunity for Accounts Receivable Controllers!

POSITION INFO:
A leading private education provider is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Controller to join their finance team on a 7-month fixed-term contract. This role is key to supporting their financial health by enhancing cash flow, building strong client relationships, and driving collections on overdue accounts.

As an Accounts Receivable Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

Proactively contact clients with overdue balances to secure timely payments
Manage and maintain the AR ledger with a focus on minimizing aged debt
Send payment reminders and follow up consistently and professionally
Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams
Negotiate payment arrangements and escalate high-risk accounts when necessary
Track collection efforts and report progress to senior management

Requirements:

Completed Matric
A qualification in Credit Management or Finance is advantageous
2–5 years of relevant AR/collections experience
Strong attention to detail
Prior experience in a Shared Services environment is a plus
