SUMMARY:
Job Title: Accounts and Parts Controller (Service Department) 
Location:  Centurion
Remuneration: R15 000 - R18 000 per month dependent on work experience and qualifications

Our client, a distribution company, is looking for an Accounts and Parts Controller for their Service Department to join their team in Centurion.
 
We are looking for your work experience to oversee inventory levels, handle supplier orders, and process invoices. We are looking for your financial and administrative experience in a parts environment.
 
As an Accounts and Parts Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our stock, procurement, and financial processes run seamlessly. You’ll oversee inventory levels, handle supplier orders, process invoices, and maintain accurate records — all while delivering outstanding service to our customers and internal departments.

Experience and Qualifications

• Matric (minimum requirement).
• Financial, Procurement, or Supply Chain Certificate, Diploma or Degree.
• 1-2 Years experience, working in an administrative and/or parts environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in stocktake management, debtors control, and quote evaluation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle urgent or sensitive issues.
• Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, reliability, and accountability.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Handle ordering and procurement, including supplier communication and purchase order management.
• Oversee receiving and inspection of incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Prepare and process billing and invoicing for goods and services.
• Assist with financial reporting and cost control activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping for all transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Coordinate projects and workflows across departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Process payments and cash-ups, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas for efficiency and performance enhancement.
