POSITION INFO:
Actuarial Analyst – Investments & Portfolio Valuation

As an Actuarial Analyst, you’ll be part of a high-performing investment team, driving pricing strategies, building robust financial models, and shaping decisions that directly impact portfolio performance and business growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct detailed portfolio valuations and pricing analysis of non-performing debt portfolios.
• Build and maintain advanced financial models using techniques such as DCF, machine learning, Markov-chain models, and runoff triangles.
• Perform sensitivity testing and overlay proxy portfolios to assess risks and returns.
• Contribute to the design of internal valuation scorecards and automation of pricing processes.
• Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets, identifying KPIs that drive performance.
• Partner with Investment Executives to evaluate opportunities and make data-driven pricing recommendations.
• Stay ahead of market and industry trends, challenging existing methods to improve performance.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in financial modelling, valuation, or credit risk analysis.
• Solid technical skills in SQL, Excel, and Python.
• Strong background in valuation, credit risk analysis, and data analytics.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
