POSITION INFO:
Our client is one of South Africa’s leading financial services groups, recognized for their dynamic culture and innovative approach to enhancing and protecting lives. They are looking for an Actuarial Analyst to support their Market Analytics and R&D team, driving insights, developing solutions, and contributing to product launches that make a real impact in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze market and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities.
Use big data analytics to provide insights to senior management.
Develop innovative life products and support annual product launches.
Build automated tools and dashboards to enable data-driven decision making.
Provide technical product expertise to distribution channels.
Prepare presentations and materials for brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to research, development, and strategic product positioning.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BSc / BBusSc in Actuarial Science (or equivalent), with 5+ CT exams completed.
Advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of actuarial modelling and data analysis.
Proficiency in MS Excel and related tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
Advantageous: Honours in Actuarial Science and 6+ months’ experience in life insurance/financial services.
