As an Actuarial Analyst in Market Analytics and Research & Development, you will be part of a forward-thinking team that transforms complex data into actionable insights. You’ll work closely with product developers, distribution, and marketing to design cutting-edge products, identify growth opportunities, and deliver high-impact market analytics.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Provide product, market, and strategic insights to enhance business growth and market share.
Analyse large datasets to identify sales opportunities, business trends, and competitor movements.
Collaborate with product development, distribution, and marketing to launch and refine products.
Build and enhance automated tools and dashboards that support decision-making and reporting.
Support executive-level discussions by delivering analytical insights and data-driven recommendations.
Assist with developing and presenting marketing material, roadshows, and client engagement documents.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 5 actuarial exams required.
- Honours degree or progress toward Fellowship advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months to 2 years of actuarial work experience within life insurance or financial services.
- Experience in market analytics, R&D, or product development beneficial.
Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data analytics tools.
- Understanding of actuarial modelling and data interpretation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
