A brilliant opportunity is available in the Insurance industry for an experienced Actuarial Specialist (in the life insurance space).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
An innovative player in the Insurance industry is looking to provide an opportunity for an Actuarial Specialist with a curious mind and a general love for executing tasks based on well researched data. As a Specialist you will be responsible for the development actuarial of models for current and prospective business, be involved in actuarial investigations and also provide actuarial support across various departments. The ideal candidate must have experience in life valuations, have a strong background in actuarial principles, insurance products and strong Prophet knowledge.

Education:

BSc Actuarial Degree
Honours Degree will be advantageous
AMASSA or FASSA

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3+ years’ experience in life products (preferably in valuations)
Prophet model development experience is crucial
Experience in valuations
Actuarial capital management experience would be advantageous
Excel and SQL skills
