Actuarial Analyst / Nearly Qualified Actuary – Group Risk (Valuations & Reporting)


Are you a numbers-savvy problem solver with a passion for making data-driven decisions that truly matter? Here’s your opportunity to join a high-impact actuarial team working at the core of Group Risk product strategy—including Group Life, PHI, Funeral, Lump Sum Disability, and Credit Life.
You’ll be a key contributor to quarterly valuations, financial reporting, and experience investigations, helping steer real business strategy with your insights.

POSITION INFO:
What You Bring:

• A degree in Actuarial Science (or related)
• 7+ actuarial exams under your belt and progressing toward qualification
• 3–5 years’ experience in valuations, reserving, or reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables are just the beginning!)
• SQL or similar programming/data tools a big plus

Your Impact:

• Own and deliver quarterly valuation results with clear analysis and reporting
• Dive into liability and embedded value calculations
• Uncover trends through experience investigations and sensitivity testing
• Generate insights that shape business and product strategy
• Take ownership of product-specific valuations
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Stay on point with internal actuarial timelines and governance
