Actuarial Analyst (Short-Term)

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and implement actuarial models that are accurate, documented, and genuinely useful to the business.
• Support model deployment, system changes, testing, and ongoing model monitoring across various product lines.
• Analyze business data, run impact and sensitivity analyses, and translate results into simple, meaningful insights for stakeholders.
• Work closely with product, pricing, sales, and marketing teams on new developments, performance tracking, and solving real business problems.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
• Strong progress toward an actuarial qualification.
• Minimum 1 year actuarial experience in a short-term insurance environment.
• Experience with actuarial modelling, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong mathematical and statistical foundation.
• Proficiency in actuarial and statistical software, plus advanced Microsoft Office.
• Solid understanding of data mining, machine learning concepts, and data validation.
• Must meet (or be working toward) regulatory “fit and proper” requirements.
