Actuarial Manager

One of our leading financial services clients, based in Cape Town, has a fantastic opportunity for an Actuarial Manager. The successful candidate will be a qualified or near qualified Actuary and they will manage a small team who are responsible for quarterly valuations.This individual will also be involved in the development of new systems and functionality for actuarial reporting. So this role is ideal for someone who is passionate about change and continous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and analysing input data
• Calculation of reserves and the Analysis of Surplus 
• Preparing information for submission into the Group reporting process
• Production of quarterly regulatory reporting
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing the necessary changes after collaboration with all stakeholder
• Assisting with implementing the IFRS17 requirements into the Annuity reporting process
