SUMMARY:
Qualified (or recently qualified) Actuary experienced in management within Life Insurance.

POSITION INFO:

The insurer has a very entrepreneurial mindset and the business units internally are run as such. This role is a consulting role to internal and external stakeholders.

It is ideal for someone who is working as a consulting actuary or a specialist within an insurer who would like to broaden their experience in other products outside of the life products. The team is small but energetic.

Your key responsibilities would include but not be limited to overseeing the calculations and management of regulatory capital models; setting up of prudential and published technical reserves; ORSA & Risk Appetite; Reinsurance restructuring; assist with IFRS17 implementations. and so on. There is one individual to manage in this specific team.

What we need from you is to have completed your actuarial exams and be qualified (or nearly qualified) coupled with 5+ years experience in life insurance.
