SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a Balance Sheet Manager to join our leading client in the insurance industry. The BSM will be responsible for managing a team of actuaries and students as well as to partake in various management and organisational forums.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

The BSM will be the Head of the unit within the Life Insurance Space
Responsible for the team’s output and service levels with clients
Responsible for liability balance sheet management and reporting
Responsible for capital management and reporting
Responsible for asset strategy development
Direct client engagement on balance sheet management matters
Predominantly covering SA, but also smaller Mauritian operation

Desired Experience and Qualifications

Qualified Actuary
At least 6 - 8 years’ working experience with the majority being within life insurance
Management experience
