POSITION INFO:
A forwarding company specializing in hunting trophy import/exports is for a Permit and Admin Clerk to join their team
Minimum requirements:
- Proactive and detail-oriented individual with experience in handling permit applications and general administrative tasks
- Good understanding of the documents required for various types of permit applications.
- Solid knowledge of CITES, Non-CITES, and TOPS species.
- Computer literate, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Able to work independently, work as part of a team, take initiative, and manage time effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process all permit related applications relating to either import/ export/movement of hunting trophies
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including Non-CITES, CITES, and TOPS regulations
- Liaise with government departments and clients regarding application statuses and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate filing systems and records of permit applications
- Ensure data is maintained and system requirements met
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
