SUMMARY:
An Internal Vacancy exists for an Administration Clerk in the Mining Division based in Northern Cape.
The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
POSITION INFO:
- Provide assistance to Supervisors and employees regarding access control and time & attendance;
- For lost / forgotten cards – verify employees as legitimate;
- Provide temporary access to employees;
- Process application to reissue ID cards;
- Print new cards;
- Manage Bio metric uploads;
- Call Security to deal with illegitimate people;
- Runs initial and if applicable final shaft clearance report and hand over to surface Shift Boss;
- Emergency Evacuation – Runs shaft attendance report and hand over to Mine Overseer;
- Obtain signatures from employee on leave form for late return or emergency leave and send to Payroll; Update employee access profile on Firefly for late, early leave return and emergency leave;
- Provide temporary access to employees who should have access but was not provided due to non-conformance to
- access approval process;
- All system inputs to enable accurate and administration and management of access control system in support to the time & attendance function;
- Induction process management;
- Documentation and permit centralization;
- All ad hoc duties as determined and/or tasked by the Site Manager;
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: - Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office);
- Access Control System Administration;
- Information Management, Data capturing and accuracy;
- Communication skills;
- Planning and organizing skills;
- Quality Standards compliancy;
- 2 Years’ Administration / Time & Attendance Administration / HR Administration /Security;
- Administration experience;
- Must be able to work shifts;
