Administrator (Fixed Term Contract)

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

Essential function:

• Quality control and submission of work to DOJ within a deadline driven environment
• Providing office and administrative support to either a team or individuals.

Duties include

• Coordinating requests received from clients, 
• Liaising with courts to obtain audios,
• Preparing cost estimations,
• Issuing work to typists,
• Resolving queries,
• Fielding telephone calls,
• Receiving and directing visitors,
• Creating spreadsheets and presentations
• Filing amongst other administrative duties.

Essential Qualification:

• Excellent knowledge of legal transcripts.

Preferred Qualification:

• Extensive experience in typing legal transcripts as well as quality control of other typistsâ?? submissions before sending back to court

Experience required:

• Ability to spot mistakes in layout and legal terminology especially Latin and judicial terminology

Work environment:

• Open plan environment
