ADVANCED SOMATOLOGIST
STELLENBOSCH - Cape Winelands, Western-Cape (South Africa)
START: A.S.A.P / 01 June 2025
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm
- Alternating Saturday 08:00am - 15:00pm
- Closed on all major public holidays
REPORTS TO: Manager / Owner
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R10,000 Basic per month
- Service Commission upon meeting
- Retail Commission
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
- DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Somatology obtained
- LASER HR & SR trained / experienced
- BONUS - Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
- Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional
- Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
- Able to work independently - you will work with a small team and run your own column with our established clientele
- Based within Stellenbosch or within reasonable travel distance
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3+ Years experience as a Skin Care Therapist (post-grad)
- high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
- Experience working with active ingredients
- Aesthetic devices and advanced treatments preferred
- LASER hair removal & skin rejuvenation experienced
- Able to perform standard beauty services

- Skin Pen / Nano-needling / Derma Pen
- Chemical Peels
- Gel Polish Application
- Manicure & Pedicure
- Waxing including Hollywood & Brazilian
- Tinting & Shaping

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
- Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments
- Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly (sales & retail confident)
- Confidently re-book clients to build rapport and maintain clientele
- Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision -
