Advocacy Training Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our corporate legal client based in Sandton is looking for an Advocacy Training Administrator to join their dynamic team

POSITION INFO:
Educational requirements:

• Matric with good language results
• Tertiary Qualification in Public Relations and/or Events Coordination advantageous
• Basic training or exposure to law advantageous

• Minimum 5 years of working experience
• Fully proficient in Microsoft - MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
• Strong organizational and office administration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
• Good problem-solving skills
• Task-driven and able to meet deadlines

• Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30
• Assistance with pupil and training activities after hours and over weekends requires that the employee be flexible and arrange working hours accordingly

• Assist and coordinate the process to recruit and place pupils annually
• Coordinate the pupil training program, inclusive but not limited to weekly lecture programs; weekend workshops; Administrate pupil assessment data, such as weekly assessments, the mock examinations, and assist or support with the arrangement of the final examinations; and Scheduling of trainers, venues, drinks and food, and training materials
• Communicate with pupils and their mentors
• Coordinate with trainers, placing trainers to assist with training, coordinate lecturers and trainer's timetables, send reminders, ensure attendance, and exchange trainers that become unavailable
• Resolve and/or escalate pupil queries not dealt with or resolved by pupil mentors
• Coordinate and assist with the annual advanced advocacy training program
• General support to the relevant Committee
• Orchestrate pupil-related reporting
• Assistance in all aspects of the general administration as and when necessary, upon the request of the Senior Administrative Officer
