Aerospace Technician

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and visual inspection of a wide variety of incoming, in-process, and final assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and parts.
• Ensure conformance to specifications by utilizing various inspection criteria, equipment, regulations, and standards.
• Identify non-conforming materials and initiate Non-conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Provide training to colleagues as required.
• Conduct surface treatment of mechanical components following set operating procedures.
• Safely operate laser engraving equipment using the correct templates to ensure accurate serialization of components.
• Update the ERP system with all relevant information.

Qualifications and Experience:

• National Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Chemical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• IPC certification is beneficial.
