Education company based in Pretoria is seeking an Afrikaans Language Specialist whiz to join their Editing team! R24 000 CTC pm.

POSITION INFO:

Vereistes:

Honneurs- of meestersgraad in Afrikaans (vereis), ’n kwalifikasie in vertaling (aanbeveel)
Minstens vyf jaar gepaste ondervinding as taalversorger
Uitmuntende kennis van Afrikaanse grammatika en taalgebruik
Goeie algemene kennis en belangstelling in die wêreld om ons
’n Brein wat alles bevraagteken
Goeie beplannings- en tydbestuursvaardighede
Uitstekende navorsingsvaardighede
Kreatiewe skryfvaardighede
Die vermoë om die standaard van tekste/publikasies te evalueer en aan te pas soos nodig – beide die taalgebruik en inhoud van die teks/publikasie
Kennis van die KABV-kurrikulum is voordelig

Verpligtinge:

Handhaaf die gehalte van alle publikasies (handboeke), met spesifieke fokus op Afrikaanse boeke.
Maak seker publikasies voldoen aan die DBO se KABV-vereistes.
Maak seker publikasies is gebruikersvriendelik en op die regte vlak vir leerders en onderwysers.
Koördineer en lei ’n span met skrywers, illustreerders, ander taalversorgers, kundiges, grafiese ontwerpers en moderators in die ontwikkeling van handboeke.
Identifiseer en behartig grootskaalse herskryf van tekste/publikasies.
