Agile Product Owner

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking 3 Agile Product Owners to join their team in Sandton. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with benefits and a great working environment.

As an Agile Product Owner, you'll be responsible for driving the product roadmap and ensuring that it is aligned with the business strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure they are following the correct approach when building their products or features. You will manage several concurrent projects, ensuring they're all on track at any given time. In this role, you may also act as a Scrum Master (responsible for helping teams follow Agile Methodologies), or as a Project Manager (overseeing project planning and execution).

Requirements

Models the Agile methodology and deploys the best practices to the project teams.
Monitors and reacts to the team's progress toward the product release and integrates functionality.
Coordinates cross-functional teams using key resources (management, development
In charge of defining a product vision and creating an Agile Product Roadmap
Responsible for product management and delivery teams to prepare, test, and deliver new features or fixes based on the product roadmap.
Prepares the product roadmap and short-term milestones to determine the priority of each item, as well as ongoing issues and possible solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Agile Product Management preferred
3+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner and/or product owner required.
Strong understanding of Agile principles, process and architecture are required.
Experience with Agile processes and principles (Scrum, Kanban, XP) preferred.
Experience with Agile project management (Sprint, Retrospectives) preferred.
