Our client in the Agricultural sector is looking for a Technical and Sales Manager to join their team in Letsitele.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s in science or relevant horticulture degree
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in agriculture / nursery business
- Driving licence
- Operations / Production
Manage and monitor production activities and personnel
Manage and monitor product and service quality, and standards
Strategically evaluate operations for improvements and efficiencies
Maintain a safe and environmentally friendly working environment - Client communication
Develop a working knowledge of the various crops (Citrus + sub-tropical crops)
Ensure client satisfaction (timeous communication and tree quality)
Engage in workshops, symposia, marketing and sales travelling programmes
Monitor local and international markets opportunities - Administration
Upkeep of records
Provide various monthly reports
Good communication with internal and external customers
Manage budgets - Research
Present strategic research projects
Oversee implementation of research and development
Reporting of R&D findings
Monitor markets – opportunities in Africa and information gathering across sectors
