Agricultural Admin Assistant

SUMMARY:
A primarily poultry, mixed farming operation, based in the KZN Midlands, is looking for a general assistant. 
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5-10 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL ADMIN/PROCUREMENT AND STAFF SUPERVISION.
VALID DRIVERS LICENCE AND DRIVING ABILITY IS ESSENTIAL

POSITION INFO:
The position entails both hands-on and supervisory work in the poultry operation
Examples of basic daily duties will include but are not limited to:
Poultry:

• General chicken house inspections, both morning and afternoons, ensuring company SOPs are adhered to.
• Overseeing staff at critical functions during the poultry production cycle e.g. vaccinations, transfers.

• General office administration / farm record keeping.
• Weekly / monthly livestock reports and record keeping.
• Staff records e.g. attendance registers, leave rotations, PPE issues etc.
• Monthly feed reconciliations.
• General sourcing and ordering of farm supplies.
