Our client in the Agricultural sector is looking for an Agricultural Technical and Marketing Manager to join their team in Hoedspruit. 
Nursery: Vegetable & Tobacco Seedlings; Citrus Trees

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 and Agricultural qualification
• Plant Cultivation Quality Control:
  Assessment of the quantity and quality of nursery stock
  Ability to act pro-active in case of potential problems
  Technical Expertise:
  Providing technical guidance to customers and nursery
• Inventory Management:
  Monitoring records of plant inventory, including tracking growth stages and availability
  Monitoring stock levels and ordering new plant materials as needed
• Inventory Forecasting:
  Analysing market trends to anticipate customer demand
  Planning and adjusting production based on market forecasts
• Sales Management:
  Overseeing sales operations, including pricing, invoicing, and payment processing
  Setting sales targets and monitoring sales performance
• Marketing Strategy:
  Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote nursery products
  Identifying target markets
• Customer Relations:
  Link between nursery and customers. Managing expectation, solving and addressing customer
  concerns
• Market Research:
  Conducting market research to identify emerging plant varieties and trends
  Monitoring competitor activities and pricing
• Business Development:
  Identifying growth opportunities and expansion possibilities
  Exploring new markets and collaboration
• Compliance:
  Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations regarding plant cultivation and waste
  management, inspections and production audits e.g GlobalGap
• Customer Feedback:
  Collecting customer feedback and incorporating it into product selection and improvement efforts
• Networking:
  Building and maintaining relationships with industry professionals, suppliers, and potential partners
• Additional:
