POSITION INFO:

Looking to emigrate to Prince Edward Island in Canada and have experience with potato farming.  The ideal candidate will work in the office and field environments alongside the farm team. If you are serious about coming to Canada, energetic and forward thinking, a team player with a heart for people and a desire to contribute to the growth of this Christian company and its crops, we’re looking for you!

Must be available to start 1 November 2021.

• Only South Africans need apply
• BSc Agronomy
• Minimum 2 years potato farm experience
• Thorough understanding of plant science
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read maps to locate fields
• Ability to operate farm equipment, off-road vehicles
• Class 5 licence (Class 3A or Class 1A beneficial)
• Strong computer skills (internet, email, word, excel)
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Willingness to work in a variety of conditions (wet, cold, humid)
• Willingness to work extended hours when required
